Principle of Operation:
- Single piece element constructed from wedge wire.
- Cleans automatically without interrupting the liquid flow.
- Uses pressure within the system.
- Rotating seal plate connected to the backwash outlet, sequentially blanks each element in turn.
- Lower pressure downstream of the backwash valve induces flow in the opposite direction.
- Collected contaminant is flushed from the inside of each element down the backwash pipework.
- Cleaning cycle is initiated by adjustable timer and is overridden by high differential pressure.
